Product Details

The Dilithium Networks Analyzer (DNA) is a network monitoring 3G video protocol analysis and test tool for H.324M/3G-324M.

The Dilithium Networks Analyzer DNA is a powerful and versatile tool for interoperability testing, troubleshooting and H.324M/3G-324M-based videotelephony service optimization for network equipment manufacturers, handset manufacturers and mobile operators deploying multimedia services over 3G networks. It is designed for diagnosing, analyzing and monitoring several aspects of videotelephony calls. This includes call control, connection setup and tear down, and voice and video codec quality. Operators and OEMs use the Dilithium Networks Analyzer to test new terminals and their interoperability with network equipment.

The Dilithium Networks Analyzer conforms to 3G-324M/H.324M protocol as defined by 3GPP, 3GPP2 and FOMA, and based on the ITU-T H.324M protocol that enables conversational multimedia services over wireless networks. DNA provides terminal and network monitoring functions. In terminal mode, DNA can emulate 3G-324M terminals and be used for troubleshooting, protocol analysis, IOT, as well as end-to-end service tuning. In network monitoring mode DNA can be used to sniff the traffic between two 3G-324M terminals, analyze traffic and decode-play the media.

Condition: Good Condition. Used by Dilithium Networks Reading office. Inspection welcome.

This item was lost by UPS but Dilithium Networks had accepted compensation from the UPS by the time we bought it. We think it was overlooked by UPS lost property department as the item was clearly marked Dilithium Networks in several places so UPS only had to cross reference this on their customer database.

You would think that UPS would have had the decency to contact Dilithium Networks if they wanted to buy it back instead of disposing of it as a public auction.

What's more annoying for Dilithium Networks is that they got under £50 compensation from UPS as they did not send it fully insured... Doh!!!

From the Dilithium Networks UK lab in Reading.

"Value of this PC and content of the box is around £12000 because this PC has two E1 link cards installed in it and each card on its own costs £5000 in UK (plus PC and other peripherals, SW, etc)."

"We use it as a test tool since it can accommodate PCI type E1 link cards. There is a test tool application in this PC developed by us called DNA. This PC has Windows 2000 operating system in it. Administrator password... *****. ...a Logitech Pro4000 web camera, some Ethernet cables and a power cable also in the box."

We have had this rugged PC tested by the manufacturer in Germany and found that it is has all relevant DNA software installed and is supplied with dongle too. There are no passwords.

Please note that the licence for the DNA software has expired but you might be able to have this renewed from your local Dilithium Networks sales representative.
